In this dainty necklace I captured a single cherry blossom me between fine layers of resin.
My process starts with collecting and preserving wildflowers gathered from Flanders wild meadows. Everything is pressed and dried to retain its natural colours and details in the best way possible.
The delicate flower was carefully arranged and casted in a high quality, dewdrop shaped frame. he resin protects the flowers from aging and has a glossy finish. The piece is finished with tiny pieces of hand cut gold leaf.
