In this dainty necklace I captured real pink toned Gypsophila between fine layers of resin.
My process starts with collecting and preserving wildflowers gathered from Flanders wild meadows. Everything is pressed and dried to retain its natural colours and details in the best way possible.
The gypsophila was carefully arranged and casted in a high quality, circle shaped frame. The resin protects the flowers from aging and has a glossy finish. The piece is finished with tiny pieces of hand cut goldleaf inspired by the sunlight peeking through the wild meadow.
