In this dainty and elegant necklace I captured lush green moss between fine layers of resin. My process starts with collecting and preserving wildflowers gathered from Flanders wild meadows. Everything is pressed and dried to retain its natural colours and details in the best way possible.
The lush moss was carefully arranged and casted in a high quality, moon shaped frame and finished with tiny pieces of hand cut goldleaf inspired by the sunlight peeking through the wild meadow. The resin protects the moss from aging and has a glossy finish.
