In this pair of earposts I captured real pink toned heather buds and Queen anne's lace between fine layers of resin.
My process starts with collecting and preserving wildflowers gathered from Flanders wild meadows. Everything is pressed and dried to retain its natural colours and details in the best way possible.
The buds and flowers were carefully arranged and casted in a high quality, dropet shaped frame.
The resin protects the flowers from aging and has a glossy finish. The piece is finished with tiny pieces of hand cut goldleaf inspired by the sunlight peeking through the wild meadow.
