In this pair of ear posts I captured real forget me nots between fine layers of resin.
My process starts with collecting and preserving wildflowers gathered from Flanders wild meadows. Everything is pressed and dried to retain its natural colours and details in the best way possible.
The wildflowers were carefully arranged in a high quality, dewdrop shaped frame. The resin protects the flowers from aging and has a glossy finish. The piece is finished with tiny pieces of handcut goldleaf creating the finishing meadow glow.
