In this necklace I captured real ivory toned Queen anne's lace between fine layers of resin. My process starts with collecting and preserving freshly bloomed wildflowers gathered from Flanders wild meadows. Everything is pressed and dried to retain its natural colours and details in the best way possible.
The Queen anne's lace flowers were carefully casted in a circle shaped frame. The resin protects the flower from aging and has a glossy finish. The piece is finished with tiny pieces of hand cut goldleaf inspired by the sunlight peeking through the elegant flowers.
