In this necklace I captured a real cherry blossom bud between fine layers of resin. I meticulously placed ivory toned wildflowers beneath and finished the piece with a dust of gold leaf inspired by the sunlight peeking through the wild meadow.
My process starts withcollecting and preserving botanicals gathered from my local meadows. Everything is pressed and dried to retain its natural colours and intriguing details in the best way possible.
The delicate flowers are carefully arranged in a circle shaped frame. The resin protects the flowers from aging and has a glossy finish.
